Across the old carriage way, from where the carts used to leave for local villages, is The Globe Lounge Bar, nicknamed by regulars as “The Thai Bar”. The bar leads out through double doors to the large patio which in turn overlooks the garden. Bamboo gently rustles next to the huge umbrella with heating for when the garden is not bathed all day in sun

The bar offers a warm welcome, fine wines, smoothies, cocktails and great coffees as well as leffe on draught and well kept cask ale. Food wise Lunches are served inside and out. Exclusive to the Lounge Bar is our own “Thai Tapas”, delicious nibbles served lunch and evenings, it is a great sharing experience with a glass of wine and good company.

Our comfortable seating and relaxed lounge atmosphere means it is a good place to unwind with a coffee and a newspaper or just enjoy the garden and a drink, whatever you wish we hope we can welcome you to The Globe Lounge.
